Greg Fedio


GREG FEDIO

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Greg Fedio served as Commissioner of the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League from 2013 to 2019. He oversaw the TCGSL during the time it was named “The Best Softball League in Minnesota.” Greg was elected to the TCGSL Hall of Fame in 2016. Greg has attended 9 Gay Softball World Series’ and was a vital part of the operations team when the Twin Cities last hosted the World Series in 2012. Greg has also attended 12 NAGAAA meetings and has served as Vice-chair of NAGAAA’s Membership committee since 2018. Greg is most proud of the work he does as Director and Counselor for The Naming Project, a week-long summer camp that offers a safe experience for LGBTQ teens.


John Thomas


JOHN THOMAS

ASST. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

John “JT” Thomas was the Commissioner of the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League from 2003 to 2013. During his tenure, the league grew from approximately 29 teams to 38 teams, continuing the status of one of the largest leagues in NAGAAA. He was the sitting Commissioner as well as part of the organizing committee in 2012 when the TCGSL hosted the NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series. JT is a member of the Twin Cities Spikes softball team, which is one of the longest continually running softball teams in NAGAAA. He is also honored to be in the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League Hall of Fame.


Josh Hausmann


JOSH HAUSMANN

OPERATIONS

Josh is the current Commissioner of the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League after having previously served as the league’s Assistant Commissioner for six years and was the Host City Director for the 2018 NAGAAA Cup. Josh was also elected to the TCGSL Hall of Fame in 2018. Josh is a veteran of 35 NAGAAA member tournaments in 14 different cities, including eight Gay Softball World Series’, 12 NAGAAA meetings, and has been appointed by the NAGAAA Executive Board to various committees including the committee that developed the new ratings system.


Matt Hawkins

EVENTS & HOSPITALITY

Playing in his 13th year of the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League, Matthew Hawkins currently serves as the 2019 TCGSL Board of Business Development. A Luxury Brand Hospitality Operations Director for Marriott International born in San Diego, CA, Matt has a critical eye for guest & event experiences. Winning the 2017 NAGAAA Portland World Series with the Twin Cities Steel to which he currently still plays for was one of his greatest achievements with his Twin Cities softball family. “I’m incredibly proud to serve on this 2022 World Series Board Committee and to have the opportunity to showcase Minnesota on the competitive world series stage to what will be a memorable week for our NAGAAA family. Ya Sure Betcha!”


Kevin Knutson


KEVIN KNUTSON

MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA

Kevin has been an active member of the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League for the last 10 years and this is his first appointment to a tournament planning committee. In 2017, Kevin founded LGHTR, a digital experience agency that serves mid-size Minnesota companies looking to compete nationally and internationally by helping them use technology and design to create a competitive advantage over larger competitors. Kevin has competed in 15 NAGAAA member tournaments in eight cities including the last two Gay Softball World Series. Kevin has lived in Minnesota for the last 18 years and is prepared to engage his large local network and broad marketing skillset to make the 2023 Minneapolis GSWS a welcoming, modern, and fun experience.


Scott Logan


SCOTT LOGAN

VOLUNTEERS

Scott Logan is a native Oklahoman who now calls St. Paul, Minnesota home. Scott came out playing softball in 1985 and has played in six different NAGAAA affiliated leagues. He represented 2 of those leagues at 10 World Series. He has served in many administrative roles in softball, bowling, darts and the rodeo circuit in five different communities across the country. Scott is excited to be serving on the Gay Softball World Series 2023 bid committee and looks forward to welcoming everyone to the Twin Cities!


Doug Moore


DOUG MOORE

FINANCE

Doug is the past Treasurer for the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League, having rotated off the board after 6 years in 2018. Prior to joining the TCGSL board he served as North Star Classic finance director for many years and is a TCGSL Hall of Fame member. Doug holds a BS degree from the University of California San Diego and an MBA from the University of Findlay (Ohio). Doug has served on other non-profit boards including Financial Executives International Twin Cities and is an active volunteer with Prepare and Prosper a major provider of free income tax and financial services to low- and moderate-income families.


Tim Tormoen


TIM TORMOEN

CONSULTANT

Tim is a former TCGSL player, a member of the Flamingos for 12 years and is excited to be back working with the league on the 2023 GSWS. His work experience includes his current role as Sr. Midwest Regional Director with a mid-size non-profit called Heart of America, focusing in on new business development and relationship management.

Prior to his tenure at Heart of America, Tim was the Associate Executive Director – Alumni Engagement and Outreach at the University of Maryland Alumni Association, providing leadership to the Alumni Engagement and Outreach team as they developed and implemented a variety of initiatives to connect alumni back to the university. Additionally, Tim spent over 13 years in the private sector with Target Corporation, focusing his work on marketing, brand partnerships, and corporate philanthropy. During his time at Target, his team raised over $7 million for organizations like the American Red Cross and St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Tim is active in the community, currently volunteering for organizations like The Food Group and was recently appointed as a board member at Articulture. When he has spare time, you can find him hanging out with his husband, traveling near and far, and trying (almost) anything at least once (skydiving and petting tarantulas not included).
